Become a Member
Support amateur radio in Cayman! Membership includes access to club events, member’s only WhatsApp group, resources, and reciprocal station privileges. We hold in person monthly club meetings on the second Tuesday of each month and welcome presentations on projects, antenna design, Q&A on technologies and helping new operators to get on the air.
All ages welcome!
Annual dues
- CI$25 (or US$31) payable on January 1st for the calendar year
Licensing in Cayman
Licenses are governed by OfReg. We offer help with study and exam prep for Class A and B.
Licensing Process for Caymanians and Residents
For new applications or renewals (which should be sent no later than 30 days prior to the licence expiry date):
- Complete the Licence Application Form - Available here from OfReg’s amateur radio page
- Submit with licence fee - CI$20 (or US$25) per year
- Callsign Assignment:
- ZF1 for Grand Cayman residents
- ZF8 for Little Cayman residents
- ZF9 for Cayman Brac residents

Any changes to license particulars should be notified immediately to OfReg. There’s a US$20 (CI$16.40) fee for issuing an amended license.
