Operating from Cayman

The Cayman Islands is a CEPT member and has reciprocal licensing agreements with many countries.

Visitors can operate with a ZF/ prefix, e.g. ZF/ if they are from a CEPT country for up to 90 days. For longer stays apply to OfReg for a ZF2 callsign.

Visitor Licensing

  • Callsign Prefix: Visitors receive a ZF2 callsign.
  • Who qualifies: Citizens of CEPT countries, the USA, Canada, and the UK, who wish to operate longer than 90 days.
