Monthly Meeting

C.A.R.S Monthly Meeting - Second Monday of each month

Venue: Church of God, 83 A Walkers Road, George Town, Cayman Islands

Meetings are in the building at the rear on the north side of the property.

Time: 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

We welcome presentations on projects, antenna design, Q&A on technologies, and helping new operators get on the air. All ages welcome!

Field Day 2026

ARRL Field Day is always the fourth full weekend in June—the weekend that contains the fourth Saturday of the month, running from Saturday afternoon through Sunday. In 2026 that is Saturday June 27 through Sunday June 28. CARS typically operates from scenic beach locations; listen on the net and check back here for venue details as the date approaches.

JOTA 2025, Saturday October 18

JOTA is an annual worldwide amateur radio event connecting scouts and youth groups across the world without the need of the internet, telephones, or smoke signals. Scouts get to experience the magic of RFs and bouncing signals off the earth’s atmosphere, all without any toll or monthly subscription!

This year’s Jamboree on the Air will be held at the club shack ZF1A in Savannah. Snacks and drinks will be provided and we will take the scouts in groups of 5 through the radio room where they will have the opportunity to make contact with other Scouts all over the world.
